Application Process

We recommend reading this section in its entirety before beginning your application.

Application to the Master of Science in Biomedical Communications requires:

School of Graduate Studies (SGS) Application

Applications to the BMC program must be submitted to SGS through the online admissions application which is housed on a secure server in the University of Toronto. The program code in the Institute of Medical Science (IMS) is “MSC-B”.  Note that the BMC program is listed under Program of Study > Graduate Units > Medical Science. Please review the instructions on their website carefully.

Upon registering as a new applicant, an applicant identification number and password are emailed to you. You may save your progress and log out at any time. Once you have all application materials uploaded to your application, you may proceed to the payment stage of the application. After your payment is processed, your application is submitted and no further changes can be made.  At that point, you can return to check on the status of your application including whether your supporting documents have been received.

Applicants must upload the following supporting documents (with the exception of the portfolio) to the SGS online application:

Transcripts
